74th St. MAGIC’s mission:

To create an exclusive, educationally sound environment for children to grow physically, cognitively, and socially.

In the same building as Epiphany Community Nursery School since 1996, 74th St.MAGIC maximizes children’s ability to grow physically, cognitively, and socially. Whether getting ready for nursery school or landing a back-handspring or preparing pasta primavera, our activities are as individualized as our children. 74th St.MAGIC executes its program objectives in a nurturing
environment through the following ways:

• Ensuring our program is filled with laughter, care, learning, and diverse families;
  
  
• Helping children gain confidence and independence through positive and constructive interactions with teachers and one another;
  
  
• Practicing techniques attributed to the child-centered-classroom including hands-on activities, individual work and goals, and small class size;
  
  
• Cultivating and emphasizing the importance of taking risks and trusting each other and oneself in a safe environment.
